CertifHy Partners with ATTRIBUTES to support digital traceability for its NGC Scheme

CertifHy, a frontrunner in renewable hydrogen and e-fuels certification, and ATTRIBUTES, a provider of digital traceability infrastructure for energy data, today announced the first milestone of their partnership. ATTRIBUTES will now ensure service continuity for participating market operators as the technical solution provider supporting the CertifHy Non-Governmental Certificate (NGC) Scheme.
Operational since 2018, the NGC Scheme serves the voluntary disclosure market for renewable and low-carbon hydrogen. By combining CertifHy’s established certification governance with ATTRIBUTES’ digital registry capabilities, this strategic collaboration safeguards the scheme’s operational stability while driving greater transparency and traceability across the value chain.
Under the agreement, ATTRIBUTES supplies the underlying digital registry infrastructure to operationalize the CertifHy NGC Scheme. The platform enables producers, traders, and end-users to register, verify, and exchange high-integrity certificates detailing the origin, production emissions, and other key sustainability attributes of hydrogen produced in the European Economic Area.
While maintaining reliable registry operations for the NGC Scheme marks an immediate operational milestone, the partnership reflects a broader shared commitment to scaling digital traceability services and differentiated energy offerings across European markets and beyond. Together, CertifHy and ATTRIBUTES will help provide reliable information on product attributes and safeguard against double counting.
